Three Stage Enrolment

                                    STAGE 1 – Information, Advice & Guidance

Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) session arranged with a member of Numidia staff.  This 15 minute IAG session may take place at one of our centres or may have been booked through Jobcentre Plus (Cofa Court) on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday morning.

IAG takes place and the most appropriate learning route is identified.  An appointment will then be made for registration at our Library Centre or Park Road Centre depending on learning route which will be either Accelerated Achievement Programme (AAP) or Fast Track.  Individuals reminded of the necessity to ensure they take ID and proof of benefits with them to their Registration appointment – otherwise we cannot proceed with registration.

STAGE 2 – Registration & Assessment

Registration needs to be made and will last for approximately 10 minutes.  ID and proof of benefit will be checked and recorded at this time.  We cannot proceed if we are unable to verify ID or proof of benefit.

Assessment will then be activated (Initial Assessment, Check Your Knowledge) and the learner is able to log on to the learndirect system and work through their assessment.  Learners are issued with a username and password which they need to keep safe and bring to all appointments.  Starter packs issued and Numidia Policies and procedures including Health & Safety are discussed at this time.  Skills for Life learners will be advised of the Diagnostic stage.

Once all assessment and diagnostics are complete and results saved/printed and analysed, an appointment will then be made for full enrolment onto programme of learning.

STAGE 3 – Programme Enrolment

Attendance at a 30 or 60 minute appointment (depending on programme) in order for full enrolment to take place.  The results of assessments/diagnostics will have been analysed and are recorded on the learning system.

Discussions take place throughout enrolment to agree planned end dates etc.  Once enrolment onto the programme has taken place a copy of the Learning Agreement needs to be signed by both learner/Numidia.  The Individual Learning Agreement (ILP) will then be completed as well as the Initial Progress Review.  Learner is shown how to access their courses and learning can now commence.
